Dallas Market Center is seeking a Carpenter to join our team! You will maintain all facilities to ensure an operable and safe complex and service all exhibitors and buyers in a friendly and professional manner. Must be flexible in work schedule to allow for markets, special events and emergencies to require occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

Position Description:

• Maintains DMC complex; builds drywall, cabinets, counter tops, etc.
• Patches and repairs brick or cinder block as necessary
• Effectively repairs and/or installs suspended ceilings
• Replaces glass fronts of showrooms accurately
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas; minimizes disruption to operations
• Works safely while meeting the physical demands of the position
• Adheres to OSHA regulated policies and procedures
• Other related duties as assigned
• Must have valid, active Driver License with no restrictions

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

• 5 years of carpentry experience
• Build and install laminate counter tops

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 70 lbs; will lift/carry 40lbs on a frequent basis
• Extensive walking and standing
• Work outside in the elements up to 25% of the time
